Expert Witness Services

Available to plaintiff and defense counsel

Based in Southern California and available to attorneys nationwide, Joshua A. Ronen, MD, FACP provides independent medical expert witness services for legal teams involved in complex inpatient and hospital-based medical cases, including medical malpractice, personal injury, and wrongful death litigation — such as cases involving sepsis or delayed diagnosis.

As a board-certified internal medicine physician actively practicing hospital medicine in California, Dr. Ronen offers objective, evidence-based case reviews across his full areas of expertise, standard of care evaluations, medical record analysis, deposition support, and expert testimony for both plaintiff and defense counsel.

His clinical experience in acute inpatient care, utilization management, and complex hospital medicine allows him to deliver clear, credible medical opinions grounded in current hospitalist standards of care and real-world hospital practice — including matters involving failure to escalate care or clinical deterioration.
